In his letter to the Ephesians, the Apostle Paul paints a vivid picture of the Christian life as a spiritual battleground and equips us with the tools needed to stand firm in the face of trials. Over the next seven weeks, we’ll embark on a sermon series exploring the Armor of God, as outlined in Ephesians 6.

We’ll begin by grounding ourselves in the first five chapters of Ephesians, where Paul reminds us of our identity in Christ, our calling to unity, and our purpose as God’s people. These foundational truths prepare us to understand and apply the spiritual armor God provides for our protection and victory.
Paul uses an illustration of the Roman armor which he was familiar with being imprisoned during his time in Rome as he wrote this letter to Ephesus. Each piece of the armor can help us to firm our understanding of what it means to walk in the Army of God being fully prepared to face the fiery darts of evil. These pieces represent our need for spiritual truth, righteousness, the gospel of peace, faith, salvation, and the Word of God, and hold profound significance in our daily walk with the Lord.
Join us as we uncover the power, purpose, and practicality of standing strong in God’s strength, fully equipped for the battles we face.
